...SO I met a nice young adult lady...who happened to be my dental hygienest for a few months...three sessions of dental hygiene with her..she was a university student getting a nursing degree apparently with a dental hygiene emphasis(?)... anyways whatever the case may be...she was flirtatious and so I after the third session...I sent her a valentines day card and chocolates...and gave her my contact information..saying "If you like older guys like me...call me, or text me, or email me...". She must have been in her 20's...and I'm 46 so that's why I added the "older guy" comment...
...Anyways, either she was just trying to make me feel good by being flirtatious, or she was too shy to contact me...maybe she's the kind that needs to be "pursued"...albeit i said if I didn't hear from her I wouldn't bother her any further...in this day and age...a man can quickly find himself in trouble by even calling a gal or "pursuing" her in a chivalrous manner so to speak...hence it's really almost up to the girl to make the move...all the guy can do, at least in my case, is let the gal know I'm available and possibly interested...
...that's my M.O. (modus operandi). I wait to see if a gal shows interest in me...and if YES I reciprocate...and then wait.. and if nothing comes from it, that's the end, but ultimately it's up to the gal to show interest after I indicate I am available. I don't know any other way.
...so I wish ALL the BEST to Erica...she was coming to the end of her program at this university clinic and was planning on returning to the San Francisco area where she apparently already had a job lined up at a dental office. God bless you Erica...hope all goes well.
