...so I continue to keep my eyes open for the right woman ...albeit am not doing all the "schemes" to try to find her ( ie dating websites, matching services etc)...I have always lived by the philosophy that if God intends me to find the right person and enter into a committed relationship it will somehow happen...rather than trying to make it happen via social engineering etc...
...every now and then I see a woman who makes me turn my head...and not just based on sex appeal..and all the right "curves" ... that's not enough anymore to make me pursue somebody..because I know that sex appeal is not enough, alone, to create a long-lasting, quality, relationship. Sure, I hope the woman I eventually marry (if it is according to God's will) maintains herself physically, but the perfect body, alone, is not the main criteria for me. Likewise, i hope the woman who finds me interesting and attractive isn't interested solely because of my great body (wink wink...i wish I had such a perfect body...I do have an "athletic" physique...but at age 46 I can't say it's in perfect shape anymore, but not too bad for my age...
...nonetheless, I hope my future woman wants more than just a man with a perfect body... but also intellect, emotions, spirituality, etc... the list goes on..

re ERICA
...SO I met a nice young adult lady...who happened to be my dental hygienest for a few months...three sessions of dental hygiene with her..she was a university student getting a nursing degree apparently with a dental hygiene emphasis(?)... anyways whatever the case may be...she was flirtatious and so I after the third session...I sent her a valentines day card and chocolates...and gave her my contact information..saying "If you like older guys like me...call me, or text me, or email me...". She must have been in her 20's...and I'm 46 so that's why I added the "older guy" comment...
...Anyways, either she was just trying to make me feel good by being flirtatious, or she was too shy to contact me...maybe she's the kind that needs to be "pursued"...albeit i said if I didn't hear from her I wouldn't bother her any further...in this day and age...a man can quickly find himself in trouble by even calling a gal or "pursuing" her in a chivalrous manner so to speak...hence it's really almost up to the girl to make the move...all the guy can do, at least in my case, is let the gal know I'm available and possibly interested...
...that's my M.O. (modus operandi). I wait to see if a gal shows interest in me...and if YES I reciprocate...and then wait.. and if nothing comes from it, that's the end, but ultimately it's up to the gal to show interest after I indicate I am available. I don't know any other way.
...so I wish ALL the BEST to Erica...she was coming to the end of her program at this university clinic and was planning on returning to the San Francisco area where she apparently already had a job lined up at a dental office. God bless you Erica...hope all goes well.
